St George – Chelsea Creek

At Chelsea Creek, we were appointed by St George to undertake the full strip-out and conversion of their former marketing suite into a brand-new residents’ gym.
The project began with the complete removal of all existing fittings, partitions, and finishes, returning the unit to a shell ready for transformation. From there, our team delivered a comprehensive internal reconfiguration, creating a high-quality leisure space tailored to the needs of the residents.
Key elements of the works included:
- Comprehensive strip-out of the existing marketing suite, including partitions, finishes, and services.
- Installation of new flooring systems, including specialist gym-grade surfaces designed for durability, acoustic performance, and comfort.
- Drylining, insulation, ceilings, and finishes to create a modern, functional interior.
- Full MEP services installation, including lighting, ventilation, heating, cooling, and water services, ensuring optimal performance for a high-usage environment.
- Acoustic treatment and soundproofing to minimise noise transfer and create a comfortable space for residents.
- Bespoke joinery and carpentry, with our skilled craftsmen manufacturing and installing custom-built locker units, designed and finished to a level far exceeding off-the-shelf alternatives.
- Decoration and final fit-out, delivering a clean, contemporary aesthetic in line with St George’s high standards.
While the specialist gym equipment installation was carried out by others, JAAP delivered every other aspect of the fit-out, handing over a fully completed environment ready for immediate use.
The result is a high-quality residents’ gym that combines technical performance with refined finishes, reflecting both the premium nature of the Chelsea Creek development and St George’s commitment to excellence.
